Our Mission

Illuminated Angels Haven (IAH) is dedicated to rescuing and caring for young girls in the Dominican Republic, who come from difficult and underprivileged circumstances, are often marked by poverty, neglect, or lack of stability at home. We embrace each child with love, protection, and hope, providing them with a safe place to heal and grow. Through education, healthcare, nutritious meals, and emotional support, we empower these girls to discover their potential and build brighter futures as strong, confident members of their communities.

Education Programs

We provide school uniforms, books, and school supplies and run after-school tutoring to close learning gaps. By investing in education we open doors to future opportunity and equip girls with skills to lead and succeed.

Food & Nutrition Programs

Daily, nourishing meals and healthy snacks are the foundation of growth. Our food programs address immediate hunger while teaching basic nutrition so children build healthier habits for life.

Emotional & Mental Wellness

Trauma and loss can linger we partner with mental health professionals to provide consistent counseling, group therapy, and age-appropriate emotional support so each child can heal with dignity and resilience.

Healthcare Access

Regular medical and dental check-ups, vaccinations, and follow-up care are coordinated through local health partners to make sure children get timely treatment and preventative care.

Safe Haven & Shelter

We renovate and furnish bedrooms, create cozy study spaces, and maintain communal areas where children feel secure and loved. We provide a stable home that restores trust and gives them space to play, learn, and rest.

Creativity & Enrichment

Arts, crafts, birthday celebrations, and outings create joyful memories and build confidence. These experiences spark creativity, strengthen bonds among peers, and remind children that they are valued.
